why dont you list drummers you dont like. have a go, go on. just for fun.
for example, drummers that throw sticks.

i dont like matt from sony
there ya go chris
I really like "Cobra's" drumming on The Appleseed Cast - Sunset Drama King.
It doesn't sound too technical but I especially like the little roll's on the hi-hat towards the end.
lurvely.
guy from the get up kids, so simple, but SO SOLID. ace bastard
Cobra is perhaps the best rock drummer I've ever heared. Especially on Mare Vitalis
nah, he does that thing with the bell on his ride (oooh matron) too much. he's really good though.
Well I don't really listen to drummers that much ( ) but a few choice bits from songs which have made me think "hey that's mighty fine" would be:
Cave In - Big Riff - that crazy constant snare roll with the regular pattern on top. I sthat actually a live thing or two takes on top of each other? G-Funk you have seen them live - details!
Poison The Well - Artists Rendering Of Me - That madcap fill at about 1:02 before the guitars speed up. Then again at 1:44 in the slow bit before the "...forget the moment".
Drummer from The Dismemberment Plan in general - especially in "The Other Side" from the new album. Really fast kinda dub/dnb stuff.
Alice In Chains drummer was alright too.
drummer from primus is pretty cool.
also the hendrix drummer, i forget his name, he was fucking excellent.
i agree with alix on this one, jazz drummers are by far the best.
mitch mitchell. now he was fantastic. and al, the cave in drummer does indeed do it live.
